solar system

Project Purpose: To create a puzzle where we can learn the distances of the planets in the solar system from the sun by using the PinooMinoo card.

Duration:  2 lessons

Age group:  7 years and older

Used Set:  PinooMinoo Interactive Coding and Design Kit

Materials to be used:  Pinoo Minoo card, 9  crocodile cable, connection cable, Scratch Application.

 

 

 

Materials Required for Design:  Scissors, glue gun, silicone, A4 paper, colored pencils, transparent file, black, brown cardboard, aluminum foil and  2 pcs shoes  box cover (or shoe cover  otherwise you can buy yourself a rectangular box using forex cartons.  You can create a base.)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Project Construction: 

As the first step for our project, the planets in the solar system and the sun  Let's draw a picture and paint it with colored pencils.

 

 

 

Black  with our carton  our box  Let's cover all sides except the top.

Let's cover the top of our box with brown or a different color.

Let's determine the positions of the planets on the brown cardboard we covered.

 

 

Positions of the planets in the brown part  Let's determine the planets of the black cardboard equally and put the black cardboard  Let's cut it and fix it.

 

 

  8 pieces of alligator cables in the box  with planets at the bottom   to regions      Let's fix it.

 

 

Let's fold the aluminum foil paper and silicone it on the points where the planets are.

 

 

After making the connections and designs, let's move on to the coding processes.

 

 

Scratch-3 program so that we can do our coding.  let's use

We connect our Pinoo Minoo card to the computer with the help of the connection cable. 

  Scratch-3  Let's login to the app.

Let's search and download pictures of space and planets from the internet.

 

 

 

In Scratch –3 app  Let's add space as decor.

After adding the decors and planets, let's move on to the coding part.
